Hi ladies! How are you and how is your Monday so far? Can you believe we’re already almost halfway October? I can’t, I just can’t. How has your weekend been anyway? I’ve been spending the weekend with my boy and girl, a.k.a. my boyfriend and Popcorn. Popcorn is 7 months old as we speak and she’s all into doing those things which she knows she’s not allowed to. Puberty. Toilet paper, laundry, new shoes and even razor blades are truly her thing. “Mommy, why can’t I just play around with those things, you don’t need them right?” 🐶 Oh well, youngsters.. Anyway, I was about to show you some fresh items I’ve been wearing lately. A pair wine red velvety trousers from The Jetset Diaries, some customized Converse (customize your own here, so cool, right?), new grandma inspired heels from Jeffrey Campbell, a tiny velvet bucket bag from Reclaimed Vintage, a 70s inspired silk blouse from WE Studio, and a pair of my funky rings from Swarovski. What’s your favorite item?
My name is Frederique and I run this personal style blog. After graduating from law school in April 2014 – University of Utrecht (The Netherlands), exchange: Uppsala (Sweden) and UC Berkeley (USA) – I built FAB le Frique from scratch and decided to spread my lifelong interest in fashion and lifestyle with the world (wide web). Taking a leap of faith, making a career transition, leaving a known and charted career path is scary. But if the only actual obstacle blocking me from doing what I’m truly passionate about is ‘fear’, I hereby conquer my fears and go forward with my passion.
