Hello cuties! How has your week been so far? 🙂 If you’re following me for a while already, you might know that my relationship with sneakers hasn’t always been that good. For the longest time, especially during my law career, I didn’t own any cool sneakers besides my worn out tennis shoes. When I left law behind and continued my career path following my dreams, my relationship with sneakers went from being pretty much non-existing to an obsession to say the least. I have to admit that I’m nowadays always on the hunt for new sneakers to add to my collection and I really enjoy the easy-going, laid-back vibe a good sneaker gives to your look. Like you’re one of those girls who’s always running late but still looking put together. You know what I mean?! 🙂 The sneakers I’m wearing in today’s post are the new Nike Air Zoom Mariah Flyknit Racers. If you’re a fan of Nike, you might know that every summer they bring back a number of different takes on the iconic Nike Air Mariah sneaker. This year however, they did it slightly different thanks to the launch of their Nike Zoom Mariah Flyknit Racer. The new silhouette pays tribute to the legendary Nike Air Mariah of the 80s and adds today’s Zoom Air cushioning to the midsole for a more comfortable feel than ever. FYI: as a so-called sneaker head I have to say that this feature makes them one of the most comfortable sneakers I have ever owned. Yup, even not joking, it’s almost like you aren’t wearing any shoes. Besides that Nike added a new slip-on construction to the iconic shoe, thinner laces, and a slightly higher ankle collar for a 2017-take that’s still rooted in the success of the legendary racer. What do you think of the look of the sneaker? And what do you think of the way I’ve styled it?
