Routine: Get up and glow Estee Lauder

make up routine Estee Lauder

If you’ve been following me for a while, you know I’ve attended many blogger related events over the years. You might remember that one event with Estée Lauder and one of the biggest Dutch beauty bloggers named Masha Feoktistova, also known as Beautygloss. This event was an introduction on how to use YouTube when sharing beauty related topics. Obviously, Masha is the expert in anything beauty video related and it was an incredible honor to get to know her tips and tricks. At the event we were asked to create a makeup tutorial with Estée Lauder products ourselves. Which was kind of tricky for me, since I’m not creating any content on YouTube yet. Getting on Youtube as a content creator is definitely on my to-do-list of 2017. But I’m not that sure on when it’s going to happen. I really need to feel 100 % confident to do so, and I think I’m not there yet. Hope you don’t mind too much and you’ll be following along with the Freddy-goes-YouTube-thing whenever it’s going to happen. However, as I was absolutely loving most goodies I was given, I wanted to share my top 3 makeup treasures from Estée Lauder.

  • Let’s start off with the foundation I’ve been using since December last year, the Double Wear Nude Cushion Stick foundation (I use it in the color Pebble). The thing I like most about this foundation is its weightless formula with hyaluronic acid that hydrates my skin like no other foundation ever did. And you know, for us people in their late 20s, hydration definitely is that one thing you’re looking for when choosing your cosmetics. Even if you’re dealing with acne prone skin like me. Not hydrating your skin properly, might cause having even more trouble with pimples and also causes those wrinkles around the eyes, on the forehead, et cetera. Another thing I love about this new Estée Lauder foundation, is its applicator. Applying the product is not much more than twisting, tapping, buffing and blending. No dirty fingers and no brushes or sponges required. YAY!
  • Then, I absolutely recommend you buying the Double Wear Brush-On Glow BB Highlighter. This luminous, long-wear product gives you that all-day-glow you absolutely need in your life. Personally I use it both under my eyes, to help erase my dark circles and hylight that under eye area in a positive way instead, as well as a fresh glow on my cheekbones. I just twist the bottom of the applicator and dispense the amount needed on the particular area of my face. Then I gently pet it in using my ring finger. Love how this product makes your skin looks so much more radiant, so much more fresh. Like you just had yourself a facial honestly. Give it a try and tell me what you think. For those with an extensive love for glow, do’t forget to highlight both brow bones, as well as your cupid’s bow. Or mix in some of the product into your foundation and go for the ultimate glowy look.
  • Last, I need to get the Brow Multi-Tasker in my top 3 list of Estée Lauder makeup treasures. Definitely a must buy for those ‘who like them brow to look good‘. It makes the perfect natural bigger brow. As the name is saying, this product is a multi-tasker, a 3-in-1 brow tool. On the one end it has a triangular tip pencil, which you can use to fill in and contour your brows with a custom stroke. Then in the center, it has a sponge-tip applicator primed with brow powder to create a fuller brow and give your brows more depth. And to finish them off, you can use the spoolie at the other end of the pencil. Of course you can use a transparent gel to set it all, but I don’t find it necessary at all, my brows stay in place all day when using the Brow Multi-Tasker. I absolutely love it!
