‘Wait, did I really just say that?’
How ya doing today? Last week has been a mad week, really. After being listed as one of the top Dutch influencers on Instagram (check it here if you haven’t yet), I’ve been receiving e-mails like crazy. And don’t get me wrong, I’m super happy with every offer that I get, but I’m still kind of new in working with big brands, deciding on if I want to collaborate with them at all, and such. It’s the total opposite of what I was used to, when I still was working in the field of law. I knew how things were going to work out, at least, much better than in the blogosphere. And yeah, I’m that kind of person who wants to have control over things. As much control as possible 😉 So without any education and previous experience in communication, ICT and fashion; I’m not always as ‘in control’ as a blogger as I wish I was. On the other hand though, with this blog I’m able to learn so many new things each day, just by running my own business. And I’m very proud of myself of making this career move! Wait, did I really just say that?
Starting this post with my thoughts on my career, wasn’t really what I’ve planned to tell, but it feels good to share some more personal things anyway. Back to fashion, what you see below is what I was wearing last Saturday when I went to see Lucy at her closet sale in Arnhem. Since it was pretty cold outside and raining cats and dogs, me and my sister decided to shoot this look indoors. We went all the way to the 4th flour of this garage, to make sure all cars and other vehicles were out of the way. All eyes need to be on me right, haha! 😉 For the occasion I wore a cute rebellious look, I would say. A vintage knit and a sleeveless moto jacket over it, teamed with one of my absolute favorite pairs of ripped jeans and some lace-up ankle boots.
What I’m wearing:
– Ripped mom jeans – ASOS
– Knitwear, V-neck jumper – vintage – but I found you guys these ones: here and here
– Leather sleeveless moto jacket – ASOS
– Lace-up ankle boots – VAN HAREN (old collection) – but look over here and here if you wish
Of course, I’d love to hear your thoughts on today’s ensemble and anything else, really. Go ahead, don’t be shy!
