Fall is most definitely my favorite season, and I won’t lie that ankle boots have a major part of that obsession! Along with the glowing leaves and crisp fall breeze, there’s nothing better than slipping a cute pair of ankle booties on your feet to make you feel on top of the world! And, let’s be honest, the ankle height just feels more relaxed and comfortable. Never mind that booties take up way less room in your closet too. Wait. Do you know what that means? You can buy more than just one pair this fall – especially since ankle boots come in so many styles, shapes, colors, heel heights, and price points. I would say the chelsea boot, also known as the dealer boot, initially created for horse riding, should be a staple in every woman’s closet for fall en ce moment. Chelsea boots are tight-fitting, ankle-high shoes which first appeared in Victorian times and were originally called paddock or jodhpur boots. Their most distinguishable feature still is the elastic on the side that allowed you to effortlessly pull them on and off with the heel tab at the back. In today’s look I’m wearing my favorite pair of chelsea’s teamed with a lightly washed denim shirt, some faux leather shorts and blackish tights. So simple, yet so elegant
